130 ingredients Green Chartreuse: 55%

Some of the known herbs used in the green Chartreuse are: Alpine Gentian, Saxifrage, Exarata, Craggy Hyponoyde, Bellflower, Sage, Holy Thistle, Hyssop, Sweet Clovers, Blackcurrant leaves, Mugworts, Chamomile, Centaurea, Thyme, Common Hedgenettle, Lemon Balm, Marjoram, Lavender. The following ingredients are likely possibilities: Basil, Lemon Verbena, Mint, Tarragon, Oregano, Bay leaves, Lemongrass, Fennel, Lemon zest, Safran, Dill, Star Anise, Tansy, and Angelica.

27 ingredients Bénédictine DOM: 40%

Among the ingredients are: Angelica root, hyssop, juniper, myrrh, saffron, mace, fir cones, aloe, arnica, lemon balm, tea, thyme, coriander, clove, lemon, vanilla, orange peel, honey, red berries, cinnamon, nutmeg and six unknown ingredients. 

70 ingredients Strega: 40%

Mint, fennel, cinnamon, florence iris and juniper, its yellow hue comes from saffron.

30+ ingredients Amaro Lucano: 28%

Among the ingredients are: artemisia absinthium, artemisia pontica, salvia sclarea (clary sage), musk yarrow, holy thistle, bitter orange, gentiana, angelica, sambucus elderberry, ruta, aloe, and cinnamon.

27 ingredients Fernet-Branca: 39%

Sources have reported its recipe includes, Chinese rhubarb, aloe ferox (bitter aloe), cinchona, chocolate, quinine, angelica, gentian, galangal, chamomile, as well as linden (tiliae flos), orris root (iris), saffron, zedoary, myrrh and cinchona.

29 ingredients Vecchio Amaro del Capo: 35%

Ingredients includes, mandarin, anise, chamomile, bigarade, orange and orange blossoms, juniper, mint, licorice and hyssop.

40 ingredients Amaro Montenegro: 23%

Made from a secret blend of 40 botanicals, including vanilla, orange (sweet and bitter) peels, eucalyptus, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, artemisia blend, oregano, coriander seed, and marjoram. 

33 ingredients Ramazzotti Amaro: 30%

Ramazzotti has 33 herbs and roots including angelica root, rhubarb, bitter orange, cardamom, clove, galangal, myrrh, rose petals, star anise, sweet orange, and vanilla.

Amaro Nonino: 35% (unknown amount of ingredients)

A base distilled grappa with gentian, saffron, licorice, rhubarb, artemisia and tamarind, then aged in oak barrels for five years.
